Pedab and IBM joins forces to accelerate innovation

This program is run by Pedab and IBM together, for the simple purpose of helping early-stage businesses to a scalable IT platform. We work closely with Business Innovation Hubs that are actively involved in their members, in areas like product development or marketing, to make sure there is an alignment between business and IT.

Technology innovation is shaping the way organizations operate, and their ability to accelerate and scale. Getting it right means a sustainable advantage over the competition.

Business Innovation Program allows you to accelerate and scale your business with IBM technology services and resources.  The program includes features to give you a real head-start, and the support of a dedicated and local person from Pedab.

Build, deliver and sell your innovative solutions on IBM’s industry-leading Hybrid Cloud and AI Platform with Red Hat OpenShift. With this open cloud platform, your solutions can be deployed anywhere with built-in security and compliance.

There is no cloud vendor lock-in at any time, giving you freedom of choice, data privacy, and thus lower risk.

Every program participant gets the opportunity to build with $12,000-$120,000 of free IBM Cloud credits.

A technical architect from Pedab or IBM review your solution, to help you explore and understand your unique opportunities. For instance, you can get help to optimize and validate your ideas with a proof of concept (PoC), moving from concept to reality with hands-on support sessions.  The IT architect also offers guidance for customized education sessions for you to obtain the skills you need to progress – both technically and business-wise.

IBM’s Hybrid Cloud Build Team offers deep technological expertise and advice for your specific solution and its technology stack. They support you by removing barriers to growth, speed up the development, and inspire you with completely new ideas and insights. Their technical expertise and support help you to build and optimize your solutions across open hybrid cloud environments with technologies like AI and IoT.

Whatever solution you’re building around AI and hybrid cloud, Pedab and IBM will bring the experts and enablement you need through technical workshops with peer-to-peer sparring. IBM’s SWAT Team will help you become self-sufficient by transferring the right knowledge at the right time. This will improve the skills of your team, and maximizes the potential of your solution.

IBM’s learning platform is constantly being updated with new impactful education materials on artificial intelligence, cloud, security, IT infrastructure, internet of things, and a lot more. An IBM  badge is an impactful way of making your knowledge and expertise visible for your professional network.

This unique community helps you speed up development cycles and improves solution outcomes. It consists of over 100 open-source projects, a library of knowledge resources, developer advocates ready to help, and a global community of developers and entrepreneurs. Resources like code patterns, tutorials, and articles help you speed up development cycles.

The Benefit Journey

Who can join?

Everyone who meets the following conditions can have access to the Business Innovation Program:

  • Your revenue in the last 12 months is less than USD 15 million
  • Your company is established, is privately held, and has been in business for less than 10 years
  • You have not been a paying customer of IBM Cloud
  • You are a verifiable entity with a website and a dedicated email server.

A dedicated local person from Pedab will be on your side throughout the program, to make you get as much out of the program as possible. Not only are they focused on your success, but they all also have long experience in the IT industry, and are well connected to IBM Innovation Ecosystem.
